According to information from Springer Publishing House, the author group “Duong Tan Nhut, Hoang Thanh Tung, Edward Chee-Tak YEUNG” has published a book titled “Plant Tissue Culture: New Techniques and Application in Horticultural Species of Tropical Region” in 2022. This is a monograph in the field of biotechnology, announcing the important contributions of Prof. Dr. Duong Tan Nhut, Dr. Hoang Thanh Tung, and his associates to Vietnam’s Biology – Agriculture sector with excellent research results of international stature, contributing to the establishment of a highly influential research school in the field of plant tissue culture in particular and the field of biotechnology in general.

  This work is the result of many years of intellectual efforts of the authors, with the active cooperation of domestic and foreign colleagues, including researchers from the Department of Molecular Biology and Department of Molecular Biology and Plant breeding, Tay Nguyen Institute – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. What is most impressive is not only the practical significance of the research but also the fact that the authors of the work (Prof.Dr. Duong Tan Nhut and Dr. Hoang Thanh Tung) are both alumni of the Faculty of Biology at Dalat University.

  The fact that there are many alumni of Dalat University with excellent works published by prestigious international publishers is vivid and convincing evidence of the quality of education of the University. With a tradition of nearly 65 years of establishment and development, Dalat University is proud to be the place to build a solid foundation, promoting dreams of research to fly far and achieve important results, making meaningful contributions to the development of science and technology of the country. The outstanding research achievements of the alumni have and will continue to strengthen the University’s prestige and research position, inspire the next generations of students, and contribute to the efforts to build Dalat University to soon become one of the leading higher education institutions in Southeast Asia.
