Dalat University and Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College discussed cooperation plans

     On the afternoon of July 19, 2022, Dalat University worked with the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College to discuss cooperation in training, research, and technology transfer.

     Attending the meeting, on the side of Dalat University, there were Dr. Mai Minh Nhat – Vice President, and leaders of the Department of Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Faculty of Biology. On the side of Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College, there was the presence of Mr. Khe Van Manh – President, and leaders of units of the University.

     Speaking at the meeting, President Khe Van Manh shared general information about the recent development and upcoming plans of Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College. The President also expressed his desire to establish and expand long-term cooperation with DLU.

     With the same opinion, Dr. Mai Minh Nhat expressed her delight at the possibility of cooperation between the two sides. In his speech, the Vice President talked about the formation and development, as well as the recent achievements of Dalat University, thereby identifying the common capabilities and potentials and propose aspects of cooperation between the two sides. The initial cooperation possibilities between the two universities such as college-to-university programmes, joint programmes organization, business connection cooperation, and coordination in the use of facilities in training and research, etc.

     Dalat University highly appreciated establishing a cooperative relationship with Ho Chi Minh City Technical and Economic College, and this meeting was an opportunity for the two sides to understand each other better, creating cooperation activities for mutual development. On that basis, the two sides will continue to learn and discuss in more depth and details the potential cooperation and move to sign a memorandum of understanding in the near future.
