In order to create a healthy activity and strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding between staff, from November 16 to November 18, 2022, the Trade Union of Dalat University held the 2022 Sports Festival for staff in the event of the 40th anniversary of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20. This year’s sports festival has the participation of nearly 100 participants with 02 sports: Football and Athletics.

     The Sports Festival for staff of Dalat University is a healthy activity to improve physical fitness and health, and is the driving force for the development of physical training and sports movements of the University. It is also an opportunity for staff in the University to exchange knowledge and experiences, tighten solidarity between participants, contributing to improving the spiritual life of staff. With that spirit, the Sports Festival has received a lot of attention from the Executive Board and all staff. After 3 days of exciting competition with many high-quality matches, the athletes brought to the audience many emotions and surprises.

     The Trade Union of Dalat University has always actively created useful and interesting activities for Trade Union members over the years. The 2022 sports festival is both an opportunity for lecturers to exercise physically and improve work efficiency, and a time to relax, exchange and connect with union members of the University. The sports festival took place successfully, with individuals and groups having excellently won prizes in the following categories:

Soccer:

1. First prize: Union of Faculty of Information Technology, Faculty of Chemistry and Environment, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, Faculty of International Studies, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Technology, Faculty of Tourism, Centre for Defense and Security Education, Faculty of Philosophy, and Faculty of Education;
2. Second prize: Union of Faculty of Law Studies and Faculty of Literature and History;
3. Third prize: Union of the functional departments;
4. Fourth prize: Union of Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Men’s athletics:

1. First Prize: Nguyen Cong Nguyen – Faculty of Chemistry and Environment;
2. Second prize: Nguyen Tri Minh – Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry;
3. Third Prize: Truong Viet Hoa – Faculty of Information Technology

Women’s athletics:

1. First Prize: Nguyen Thi Thuy Anh – Deparment of Politics and Student Services
2. Second prize: Phan Thi Thu Ha – Department of Politics and Student Services
3. Third Prize: Dao Thi Hieu – Faculty of Sociology and Social Work
